Some £2.8bn ($4.3bn) of second-hand clothes are traded across the globe every year.

Uganda - where it is estimated that used garments account for more than 80% of all clothing purchases - has become a hub for the trade in East Africa. The BBC's Catherine Byaruhanga, in the capital Kampala, meets a personal shopper who scours the stalls of Owino market for the best bargains.
