Dutch tulip farmers turn west to stay competitive

Tulips have long been the pride - and the profits - of Dutch flower growers.

But the springtime favourite is popping up all over the world no matter the season.

Global demand means it is often cheaper to grow flowers in Colombia, Kenya and in the US than it is to ship them from the Netherlands. So how are the Dutch reacting?
