The German WW2 sailor who found his ship in America

Tido Holtkamp served on board a Nazi tall ship during World War Two and when it was captured by the Allies he thought he would never see it again.

But 14 years later, after he had emigrated to the US, he stumbled on the Eagle in Connecticut. To his surprise it was flying the Stars and Stripes.
