Heart surgeons save London's 'strongest man'

Surgeons at St Thomas' Hospital in London have carried out pioneering heart surgery on bodybuilder Kamil Wojniak.

Mr Wojniak, who has won "strongest man" competitions in Poland and in London, suffered severe breathing difficulties a few days after winning a weightlifting competition last year.

Surgeons used a new technique in which they replaced his aortic valve using keyhole surgery, rather than opening up his chest.

BBC South East's Mark Norman spoke to Mr Wojniak and Vinayak Bapat, a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital.
