Inside Apollo 11: Scanning the capsule for clues
As British astronaut Tim Peake heads to the International Space Station, Apollo 11, the first manned space craft to land on the moon, is also making history again.
For the last week, scientists have been scanning the command capsule that orbited the moon during this mission in an effort to give the public a virtual experience of what it was like inside.
The project is so complicated that new software had to be invented to carry it out. Jane O'Brien reports from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
