The Queen's Horses: Preparing for a party

Many of the 250 horses stabled at Hyde Park Barracks in London - and soldiers of the Household Cavalry who will ride them - are getting ready to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday.

In addition to their usual ceremonial duties, they will take part in a special birthday pageant at Windsor in May.

Horses and riders are working hard to make sure everything goes smoothly - but behind the scenes, there is also a big support team.

BBC Radio 4's Today programme was given access to the barracks to watch the preparations.
