Redcar: 'We’re the forgotten people up here'
When Tata steel announced plans to sell its UK business, all eyes turned to Port Talbot in South Wales where 4,000 jobs are in the balance.
BBC Panorama has been back to Redcar, in Teesside, to chat to people affected by the closure of the SSI steelworks six months ago.
Over 2,000 jobs were lost when the plant shut down. The government says that SSI failed to present them with a feasible business plan and a buyer could not be found for the site.
