Excitement is building behind the scenes at Big Weekend

Fans have started to arrive at Radio 1's Big Weekend for the first day of the festival.

Newsbeat has taken a tour of the site in Londonderry, where 35,000 people will watch artists including Calvin Harris, Rita Ora and Maverick Sabre.

Police say they are confident they can keep festival-goers safe.

Biffy Clyro and Bruno Mars are headlining Big Weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
