Recruiters tell so-called 'snobs' to take jobs on offer

Norman Rose from the industry body the Recruitment Society says too many unemployed under-25s are guilty of "job snobbery".

He says young people can't afford to stay unemployed while they look for the perfect job to suit their skills.

He said: "Take a job that you can enjoy, do it, but keep going on the applications you want for your own specialism."

One 23-year old graduate told Newsbeat's Dave Howard he started claiming jobseeker's allowance after finding his job in sales wasn't using his degree.
