Daniel Radcliffe reveals same-sex kiss 'had to be real'

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he was so eager to land his latest film role he waited five years for the part.

Kill Your Darlings explores the relationship between American poet Allen Ginsberg and Lucien Carr played by actor Dane DeHaan.

The Harry Potter star also revealed that the same-sex kiss in the film "had to be real".

Ginsberg was a key figure in the Beat Generation, a group of writers known for their experimentation with drugs, alternative sexualities and a rejection of materialism.

The movie also stars former Dexter actor Michael C Hall and Kevin Bacon's wife Kyra Sedgwick.
