Professor Green: We need to try to prevent suicides

Rapper Professor Green was 24 when his dad took his own life six years ago.

He says his recent wedding to Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh brought strong feelings about it "back to the surface".

"My father wasn't at my wedding, not because of some unfortunate accident, but because of a decision that he made," he says.

The musician, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, says people who are feeling suicidal need to be made "overtly aware" that places like the Samaritans, external are available to offer help.
