Signs of stress to be aware of and how to get help

Around a third of pupils have no-one to talk to at school when things get tough, according to figures from mental health charity Young Minds.

Jude Joughin is a psychologist at Cedar Mount Academy in Manchester and says that people suffering from stress show signs like sleeplessness and may lose interested in things they enjoy.

She say they should try to get help sooner rather than later and that getting a good night's sleep, eating well and talking to someone you trust about the problems can alleviate the symptoms.
