Ricky Gervais on return of David Brent from The Office

Comedian Ricky Gervais has been talking about his plans to bring back one of his most popular TV characters, David Brent.

He made the comments during interviews for his latest movie, Muppets Most Wanted, which is released on Friday.

He plays a baddie alongside Muppet baddie, Constantine.

The comedian announced last week that he was planning to go on tour as David Brent in the UK and the US.

Gervais also confirmed that he plans to make a behind the scenes mockumentary of his tour, which he says he is hoping will be televised.

They were talking to Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Chi Chi Izundu.
