Rosamund Pike says she was unsettled by Gone Girl role

Over the last two years, you have probably spotted someone on the bus or train reading a copy of Gone Girl.

It has now sold more than two million copies, so it's no surprise the film adaptation of Gone Girl is causing a lot of excitement.

If you haven't read it, don't worry, there are no spoilers in this interview.

But we will give you a quick synopsis - it's a mystery thriller with a dark marriage at the heart of the story.

We spoke to Rosamund Pike, who plays Amy Dunne, who is a "complicated" character, according to Pike.

So when the director David Fincher "homed" in on her for the role, she admitted that was "unsettling".
