Is the emoji taking over the world? From sports results to weather forecasts, these tiny little pictures are everywhere in 2015 - far beyond text messages and social media.

There are even claims the teeny pictures, which originated in Japan, could actually replace language.

If we could type the "crying with laughter" emoji in reaction to that, we probably would. But wait...
