Do student drugs tests kits really work?
DIY drug testing kits have gone on sale at Newcastle University, to try to reduce the risks for ecstasy and ketamine users.
They're being sold for £3 by the students union, which wants people to have a better understanding of what they're taking.
It follows a rise in deaths linked to PMA or PMMA, sometimes found in drugs sold as ecstasy or MDMA.
Experts are warning the packs can't be fully trusted.
However, campaigners insist they can save lives - so Newsbeat decided to put them to the test at a lab in South London.
