Wind energy 'the new oil' for Texas

Officials from all over the world are meeting in Cancun this weekend for major UN talks on climate change.

But hopes of a new treaty on global warming are almost non-existent, not least because US Republicans have pushed the issue far down the political agenda.

Indeed, Texas, the state most closely associated with oil, has five of the world's biggest wind farms - but the incentive for them appears to be making money, not saving the planet.
