Professor Brian Cox on science museum's new wing

Professor Brian Cox has opened a new wing in Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), following a £9m redevelopment.

Professor Cox said he was impressed that "you're allowed to touch everything, within reason" in the new Revolution gallery.

He said science and engineering were vital to the UK's success.

"The foundation of that is schools, universities, and its museums, because you need places to inspire kids to go into science."
