Resident returns to Prypiat, devastated by Chernobyl

Close to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant stands the abandoned town of Prypiat.

All 50,000 residents were evacuated in two hours, the day after the Chernobyl nuclear accident.

Former resident Andrey Glukhov still works at the power plant, and is one of the few people allowed to visit his former home town.

From inside the remains of Prypiat's cultural centre, Andrey explains why the town must always be remembered.
