A Russian Soyuz rocket has left for the International Space Centre
A Russian Soyuz rocket has blasted off from a launch pad in Kazakhstan, carrying a three-man crew from Japan, the US and Russia.
After travelling for almost two days, they will dock with the International Space Station where they will stay until November.
In orbit they will perform two space walks and will carry out scientific experiments including growing cucumbers to see how plants grow in a gravity-free environment.
