In search of the Northern Lights in the UK

The Aurora Borealis, known as The Northern Lights, have been visible over Scotland and large parts of northern England.

The lights are one of nature's most spectacular displays, usually seen in the Arctic Circle.

Amateur astronomers have been out in force to see if the lights appear two nights running.
