'Extinct' short-haired bumblebee returned to UK

A species of bumblebee not been seen in the UK for a quarter of a century has been returned to the countryside.

The short-haired bumblebee was once widespread across the south of England, but it vanished in 1988.

Dr Nikki Gammans, who runs the project, explains how conservationists have been able to bring the bees back to the UK.
