Birds on brink of extinction hatched in UK

Some of the world's most endangered birds have hatched in Gloucestershire after their eggs were imported from Russia.

A total of 20 spoon-billed sandpiper eggs were brought to the Slimbridge Wetlands Centre and so far 14 chicks have emerged.

There are only about 200 of the birds left in the wild. Catherine Powell reports.
