Middle East scientists on new Sesame particle accelerator
Despite the recent violence in the Middle East, plans for a new research centre to be shared by scientists from across the region are still going ahead in Jordan.
The particle accelerator, known as Sesame, is backed by countries that are openly hostile to each other including Iran and Israel.
Here the BBC's science editor David Shukman has spoken to scientists from different countries in the region about what the project means to them.
