Nasa: Europe and US strike space deal

The US and Europe have agreed to work together on the next-generation American capsule system to take humans beyond Earth.

Nasa's Orion vehicle should carry astronauts to the Moon, Mars, and onto asteroids, but Europe will provide the method for it to propel itself through space.
