Space station commander Chris Hadfield: 'Leaving Earth must be done right'
Space station commander Chris Hadfield has told BBC News that those calling for a quick return of manned missions to the Moon were seeking "titillation".
The Canadian astronaut's comments were in response to suggestions that the International Space Station served little purpose.
He said that while man would go to the Moon, Mars and beyond, it would take time and had to be "done right".
Commander Hadfield spoke to science correspondent Pallab Ghosh last year before he set off to the International Space Station.
