Stroke patient Frank Marsh: I couldn't even open my hand

A disabled stroke patient who appears to have shown small signs of recovery following an injection of stem cells into his brain has spoken exclusively to the BBC.

Frank Marsh is one of five patients who have shown some improvement, in a small clinical trial at Glasgow's Southern General Hospital.

The doctor treating them, Prof Keith Muir, says the initial results seem "surprising", but says it is too early to know whether they are the result of the treatment.
