BBC presenters take on mosquitoes with a ripping result

The high pitched buzz of a mosquito is a sound most of us hate to hear.

However, it may be a familiar sound this summer as the muggy weather of the past few months has provided the perfect conditions for mosquitoes.

Dr James Logan from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine spoke to Bill Turnbull and Louise Minchin about how to reduce your chances of being bitten.

The BBC Breakfast presenters then had the opportunity to delve their hands in to a box of mosquitoes to see how attracted the insects are to humans - with ripping results.
