Kew's green medicine

Many beautiful plants have the power to help human health - but at the same time, can also be potentially harmful.

This summer, visitors to the gardens in west London are being invited to explore a "healing giant" sculpture - filled with plants used to stimulate our bodies through the ages. Take a look - close up - with Monique Simmonds, director of Kew's Innovation Unit.

"Plantasia" is at Kew Gardens, west London, until 7 September 2014.
