Rosetta mission: 'All systems go' for Philae probe

Radio contact has been re-established with the robot probe which made a historic comet landing on Wednesday but initially failed to attach to the surface.

Pictures are coming back from the craft as scientists debate how to proceed.

It is believed that the probe, named Philae, moved after it initially touched down, and there is still concern about its longer-term stability.

Professor Monica Grady, a space scientist at the Open University, said indications were that it was "all systems go" but that scientists would be eager to establish the exact location of the probe on the comet.
