Solar plane on Indian leg of round-the-world attempt

A solar plane started the third leg of its record-breaking journey on Wednesday as it took off from the western Indian city of Ahmedabad.

It will then go on to Varanasi in northern India before making its way to Myanmar.

The aircraft, called Solar Impulse-2, is attempting to become the first solar-powered plane to fly around the world.
