British astronaut Tim Peake does water survival training

On 15 December, Tim Peake will launch into space to become Britain's first astronaut on board the International Space Station.

For the past two years, Tim has been filming video diaries for the BBC's Horizon programme, showing the risks, pressures and rigours of training.

Here the ESA astronaut undergoes water survival training – a precaution in case of an emergency landing in the ocean.
