UK astronaut Tim Peake 'yet to master' a somersault

British astronaut Tim Peake has given his first news conference from on board the International Space Station.

"Major Tim" arrived at the space platform on Tuesday, becoming the first UK government-sponsored astronaut.

On Friday afternoon, he told BBC science editor David Shukman and other journalists how he was coping in micro-gravity - and demonstrated a backwards somersault.
