Scientists solve Monarch butterfly navigation mystery

Scientists in the United States say they have solved one of nature's great navigation mysteries, how Monarch butterflies migrate all the way from Canada to Mexico.

They have created a model showing how the insects use the Sun to stay on course for their incredible 3,000-mile journey, as Victoria Gill reports.
