Why cod could have regional accents

Scientists are to investigate whether fish in British waters have regional dialects.

Steve Simpson, Associate Professor in Marine Biology and Global Change at the University of Exeter, tells the Today Programme that vocalisations specific to certain areas could affect the way cod reproduce.
