SuperCollider: Beatboxer Bellatrix works with coders for live show

Coders who use the SuperCollider music programming language have descended on London for a festival that celebrates the tool's creative powers.

In one event, coders teamed up with musicians, to show how they could use the software to interact with their distinctive sounds, and take them in new directions.

Former female world beatbox champion Bellatrix worked with three coders for two days of intense rehearsals, to prepare for a live performance.

Bellatrix and coder Chris Kiefer took time out from their rehearsal schedule to try and explain what they were doing, and why.
