Wearable tech gains momentum at CES

Wearable technologies have created a big stir this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, with many devices allowing users to track information pertaining to health and fitness.

The Shine, created by tech company Misfit Wearables, is a small metal clip which allows users to gain points for each movement they make.

Those movements are then tracked and integrated with a smartphone application, providing statistics on steps taken and points earned.

Other tech at the show include Xsens, small 3-D motion sensors that can sync to mobile devices to capture the smallest of motions.
