Cell your sole: Designer tests 'shoe phone' concept
Increasingly manufacturers and developers are experimenting with wearable technology.
Recent innovations include clothes that display twitter updates, mobile phone headsets, Google glasses, mobile phones that work in conjunction with wristwatches, and bracelets that track your fitness regime.
As an experiment in wearable tech, and to highlight the possibilities of recycling old mobile phones in an imaginative way, designer Sean Miles of Designworks was approached by O2 Recycling to integrate mobile phones into shoes.
At his company's design studio in Windsor, he explained to the BBC's Dougal Shaw how he tackled the challenge.
