Tesco to launch tablet computer

Tesco is set to officially unveil its own-brand tablet computer on Monday.

Sales of tablet computers are set to soon outstrip those of conventional desktop PCs, with more than six million sold in the UK in the first six months of this year.

Technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones told BBC Breakfast "It is a basic but pretty competitive device".
