Turning brainwaves into classical music

Click's LJ Rich puts music neurotechnology to the test to see if her brainwaves can be converted into music. By wearing a brain cap linked to a laptop with a screen of chequered patterns to focus on, her thoughts create music played by cellist Jane.

The project is the brainchild of Professor Eduardo Miranda who plans to use this system to take readings from four people and then control a string quartet with the results played this weekend at the 2014 Peninsula Arts Contemporary Music Festival in Plymouth.
