First look at iPad edition of Microsoft's Office suite
Microsoft has started offering an iPad edition of its Office software suite.
The software - versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint designed for a touch-based screen - was unveiled at the firm's first launch event hosted by its new chief executive Satya Nadella.
Office is the US company's biggest money making product and the firm had been criticised for not releasing a version designed for Apple's machine, which is currently the bestselling tablet on the market.
The BBC's North America Technology Correspondent Richard Taylor was one of the first people outside the firm to be given a demonstration of the software.
