How smart glass has got 'smarter'

A new generation of smart glass has been developed which can fade between opaque and transparent - the older technology only allowed the glass to be in one or the other state.

The technology, developed by Gauzy, can also come with several individual panels within one pane of glass allowing applications such as privacy screens and see-through fridges to be created.
