iPhone 6: Customers around the world queue for days

Apple's new gadget the iPhone 6 has gone on sale around the world - but many customers have been queuing for days to get their hands on one.

Sales in Japan are by reservation, but many people still spent several days outside stores in Tokyo where there was a festival atmosphere, with many in fancy dress.

In contrast, the new product saw protests by labour rights campaigners in Hong Kong who claim manufacturers had caused excessive working hours.
