Will using new technology in the workplace threaten people's jobs?
Research from the University of Oxford and accountancy firm Deloitte warns that more than a third of jobs risk being lost to automation over the next 10 to 20 years.
They say some sectors will be hit particularly hard, with low-skilled, low-paid workers five times more likely to be replaced by machines, as computers and robots are able to do more tasks.
But some skills which computers cannot replicate will become increasingly valuable in the job market - as the BBC's technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones reports.
