Google's BigDog robots pull Santa's sleigh

One of Google's robot divisions has marked the festive season by tasking three of its machines with pulling Santa's sleigh.

The demonstration was carried out by the firm's Boston Dynamics unit.

Earlier this year the US Marines tested how they could use the firm's technology to enhance their "warfighting capabilities".

However, Google has expressed caution about having its efforts linked too closely to the military.
