'Bionic fingertip' offers feeling
European researchers have developed an artificial fingertip that provides tactile feedback to the user.
Amputee Dennis Aabo Sorensen took part in a clinical trial and had nerves surgically connected to the "bionic" fingertip allowing him to experience feeling and distinguish between various surfaces.
BBC Click's spoke to Calogero Oddo of the BioRobotics Institute at SSSA to find out how the fingertip worked.
