Periscope-like app soars on Chinese social media
Chinese web users are talking about and downloading a new live video-streaming app in huge numbers.
Yizhibo - or Yi as it is nicknamed - offers a domestic answer to the popular US video service Periscope, which is blocked in mainland China.
Live-streaming video apps have become increasingly popular in China, despite government sensitivity over "improper" usage.
