How will robots change our sex lives?

Companies, mostly in the US, are already making sex robots. Now, one think tank, the Foundation for Responsible Robotics, says we should prepare for the impact that technology will have on relationships.

Co-director of the Foundation Aimee Van Wynsberghe told the Today programme there is benefit to be had from robots especially for individuals in elderly homes who are lonely or individuals who might have suffered a traumatic experience.

But she warned of the consequences for children of growing up in a world where consent is not always needed.
