Questions over charity fundraising

Professional fundraisers, who try to persuade people to sign up to a direct debit to a charity, are an increasingly familiar sight on the high street.

But some donors may not realise that the fundraisers are rarely employed by the charity they represent.

Instead they work for a third party organisation, which is paid abound £100 for every donor they secure.
