A look back at the life of Claire Rayner

Agony aunt Claire Rayner has died at the age of 79.

She had been suffering from cancer for several years and in 2006 wrote about her illness on the BBC News website.

She worked for The Sun, The Sunday Mirror and Woman's Own and was named medical journalist of the year in 1987. She also wrote a string of novels.
